Junior USTA Teams

The Fairhaven Tennis Association (FTA) sponsors two teams in the Southeastern Massachusetts USTA Junior League.  Both teams are comprised of male and female players and compete in the 14 & Under division and in the 18 & Under division.  Team members are required to become members of the USTA (cost: about $18). 

Both teams play against teams from other area clubs.  These matches take place on Friday afternoons at 1:00 P.M. usually starting at the end of June.  Our home matches are played at Hastings Middle School.  Our 6:00 P.M. Junior Tennis Clinics serve as our practice. 

These matches are competitive and juniors who play on the teams should be at advanced green dot ball or yellow ball level.  Top teams move on to the USTA district, sectional and finally to championship level.
